Yeah, Canada was unquestionably the better team 5 on 5, but they squandered some golden opportunities, Hellebuyk was phenomenal, and once you send it to 3 on 3 the outcome is a coin flip.

I'm surprised by how little that result bothered me. Once I saw that it was going to 3 on 3, I kinda checked out. Ending any consequential game with 3 on 3 is bonkers. Not quite as bad as a shootout, but close.

Aw, cheers, man! That's so nice to hear. As much as I've enjoyed my pivot to making comics for kids, it's very removed from what I did before, and I sometimes worry that my friends and peers think I just retired or something. 😅

I am utterly delighted to share that @mattfraction.bsky.social @stevelieberart.bsky.social @claytoncowles.bsky.social and I briefly got the Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen band back together to do a back-up story in Superman/Spider-Man #1. In stores March 25!

Definitely dodged a bullet. I regret the time I spent watching that. 😂

And of course a huge thanks to newcomer Rafael Pérez, who knocked it out of the park. I was initially only planning to write this story, but once Rafa's pages started to come in I realized I wanted to color it, too! Such a strong DC debut. Can't wait to see what's next from him!
