if an app is completely crap -> it wasn't made by an AI

if an app *looks* good but doesn't work properly -> chances are that it was made by an AI

if an app looks good and works -> I don't care who/what made it, I'm happy

inspired by iA presenter, you write a markdown file where the text is only visible as speaker notes unless you explicitly promote it (which is the opposite of every other presentation software I tried)

Finally! No more "dirty" #golang builds because you have untracked files laying around which don't affect the build at all :)

Build Your Own Text Editor

I'm rebuilding `kilo` in Go following @viewsourcecode.org tutorial: viewsourcecode.org/snaptoken/ki.... Amazing content ๐Ÿ™Œ

I cheated though, I skipped all the "raw terminal" setup and used golang.org/x/term which already implemented those.

I'm curious if there's any limitation in using @bsky.app CDN? Because I'd kinda like to rebuild anto.ph to fetch my photos from the atmosphere

18.02.2026 14:16 ๐Ÿ‘ 0 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

it also looks like it's leveraging existing bsky CDN, e.g. cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_ful..., an easy win would be to replace "jpeg" with "webp" (or even "avif" ๐Ÿ˜›)

i tried @grain.social and it looks good, but i'd just like to dump all my photos in a single feed, i don't necessarily need "galleries", optional hashtags could work too

The second edition of Designing Data-Intensive Applications, by myself and @chris.blue, is finished and sent off to the printers! Ebooks should be available in the next week, and print books in 3โ€“4 weeks. Sigh of relief. ๐Ÿ˜…

We've been hard at work on a new website with new guides, better docs, more translations, even our very own blog. We think it looks pretty sharp, too. It's now easier than ever to just build things with AT Protocol.
