On the solo character's roughness you do have a point, in my Pirate Borg campaign I'm using a full party. But the risk can be interesting!
I only have the base game (the Italian version), although I'm curious about the solo rules.

Not a problem, considering I still had more people interested than spaces 😆
And it was supposed to be a one-off, but it'll be the start of a monthly recurring event, so it's a glorious success!
Update: all the players who booked a spot no-showed, but there were many more people interested, so I ran the game for 5 kids who were so captivated by the game that they asked when the next session will be!
