Anyway - in other news, state of it to have just a 10 second tribute to easily the most influential film maker / artist of the 21st century. Do better Oscars, no one needs or wants a James Bond bit.
Plus it had, by far, the best ensemble cast of the year which is where it’s strength lies. Any one of the main 5/6 actors could have been nominated and we wouldn’t have bat an eyelid
Whatever your thoughts on Anora - to have a film that cost just $6m to make with a mostly independent production team completely run away with all the main Oscar wins is a v good thing
