White supremacy, including zionism, requires this by the way. To preserve an unnatural order, you must behave "unnaturally"
I can talk an older persons ear off - like please tell me your life story and what drugs were like in the 70's! I'm itching to know
I need yall to know that I talk so much when I go on walks that my elderly neighbors go, "alright now" and head straight back in the house ππ
TGIF Beloveds. We made it. Slide into the weekend with joy. Donβt let them stress you out.
In case Gen Z are unaware, this is not good. Not good at all.
Just found out about a shelved project by Boondocks creator Aaron McGruder and producer Will Packard for Amazon that was this exact premise: ceding Southern states to Black americans as reparations.
I would've paid real money to see that.
"If you don't know what happened behind you, you've no idea of what is happening around you." - James Baldwin
What's happening today...
Happened before....
And when you don't know, you'll think what's happening around you is new.
It's not.

I just learned what a baby letter is in regards to credit. Apparently, 52 years ago, women had to write a letter to a bank ensuring they wouldn't have a baby during the duration of a loan period. This is what conservatives want to return to. Full control of marginalized bodies.
It just gets worse and worse
When product design used to be unique.
They donβt care. Data is no match for white supremacy (inferiority). Evidence never matters. If anything, it makes them dig their heels in more.
In order to write an article for an old job, I had pasta at a strip club with members of the Wu Tang Clan. Raekwon and I became cool, and I was invited to his birthday party the next year.
1/? When people use the term "identity politics" what they really mean is "We need Black people to stop talking about fairness and equality". They mean: "We need Black people to step back". It is targeted at Black people and Black people only.
Terrible call. Phantom was robbed of a fair call and a shot at a comeback off of a valid foul. Dirty! #unrivaled
Sephora refs need to see me outside #unrivaled
If you're touting the Mamdani coalition today, please learn from what Mamdani did after he lost the Black vote in the NYC primary.
He didn't blame Black voters or discount them. He courted the Black vote, showed up, *apologized when he messed up.*
That's a way forward.

I've been revisiting American history from the 1800's and its clear that a decision was made to create our own necessary spaces, because the state of the Union is as it always will be - a mess. Our ancestors tried to create a safeguard and maybe we need to revisit what that could look like.
I need yall to understand that if Black americans were allowed to have our own geographical nation, we would be 45 million strong, with a deep legacy of radical politics and queer/trans rights, agricultural mastery, cultural & athletic dominance, and stable economies led by matriarchal families.
By the time, MAGA and the white leftist get through with Black politicians, we will be lucky if we have half the representation in Congress we have now. These are hard fought for seats with blood and deaths. Anyone else's problems cannot be our concern. We need to be selfish at this point.
What white americans did immediately following Reconstruction is the foundation of our current economic crisis. From The Great Depression onward, our economy has been elongated boom/bust cycles to avoid the repayment of reparations and land back that ensures socialist stability and accountability.
That schism started between 1865β1877 if we're being honest. This country has never forgotten how approx 2000 Black american politicians emerged and began to effectively govern actoss this nation immediately after slavery was legally abolished.
Obama was just a reminder for them.
All I know is Black people arenβt the problem.
As I've been saying for several years, anyone telling Black people to leave a country they built and have an UNSHAKABLE claim to, is selling you something. This been a cottage industry. Creator is speaking on DR but the dynamics apply in many places.
windows 13 will not be an operating system it will be a curse that must be lifted
What we're seeing in Texas is simply whiteness at work: a lesser qualified white dem candidate, an antiblack white and latino voter base, Black voter suppression, and suspicious tactics to reduce voter clarity.
What I also love about Industry is that its just about the impact of childhood trauma. Thats it. Its the literal best ad for consistent, rigorous therapy.
We're losing so many baddies to ozempic and its troubling my spirit
Industry season 4 finale rattled me to my absolute core. It's genuinely one of the most heartbreaking episodes I've ever seen.
