hey sorry to get back to you late, i haven’t been online. what are you talking about, though? a mystery gastly…?

gen 1 saves are exactly the same between og hardware and VC, and gen 2 saves are extremely easy to convert (there’s just an extra handful of bytes tacked on at the end on VC to handle the clock) so it’s super easy! i recommend it

your wallet’s probably happier too haha… i am the same except for an occasional exception for plushies. i do like a good plush. though i’m not going out to buy the ones that cost hundreds of dollars and wouldn’t fit in my bedroom

every time i am forced to remember that pokemon is now a premium brand with absurdly expensive collector items and luxury products intended for adults i think some of my brain leaks out of my ears

there were probably ways to do some of this more optimally but i had a good time and i am satisfied with my living dex!

i dozed off to sleep shortly after posting this and i am about to go back to bed, but i wanted to say that my yellow playthrough sits at around 42 hours of in-game time, and i did 4 runs of RB to cinnabar which took 4 hours each, so this took a minimum of 58 hours (actually longer, but still)

i did it! living dex style too

just 1 more run to cinnabar for kabutops remains! and then i have to quickly reset a RB file a couple times for 2 charmanders and grind some levels. will decide what to do about pinsir/scyther at the end. and then the mew glitch
