The hard to judge manual take certainly makes it all a little trickier. It can take up to 3 secs I believe.

The cf typically switches 5 secs ahead IIRC. Timings were wrong here generally. There should've been enough time with a 10-sec ident to allow nations to cut away cleanly. Network clipped Hazel's handover announcement. The NC also briefly reappeared when the cf switched back to W Olympics.

15 years ago today I arrived on Downing Street in a cage.
I've seen off Cameron, May, Johnson, Truss and Sunak and I'm still going strong.
Only two Prime Ministers have ever done longer stints here: William Pitt the Younger and Sir Robert Walpole.
