I loved Racknerd. But I might just need to let go of some of my services I have hosted with them. I just needed to streamline all my VPS and shared server subscriptions.

My #GreenCloudVPS VPS down now. Yes there was a previous downtime notice (deuts.org/x/2025-02-27...) I just wish everything will be back to normal soon.

Finished transferring #UptimeKuma to one of my trusted VPS. Now, I'm free to play around with the old VPS.

I have to block a few spam accounts here already on #Bluesky. Some are even crypto scammers.

If you have several active users in your #Plex server, it makes sense to dedicate a home server for it. Otherwise, if you're the only user or two, I don't why you need to dedicate one. But, if you're into #selfhosting like me, well, no amount of hardware is enough. πŸ˜‹πŸ˜›πŸ˜œπŸ€ͺ

I'm seeing several, albeit short, downtimes on my PDS instance, based on my #UptimeKuma monitor. Is it really my #VPS? Or #Bluesky related?

I get why #PDFDing was inspired by #LinkDing. Now I wish there were Linkding-style app for code snippets and note-taking. Just a simple dark-themed interface backed by just SQLite for the database. #Selfhosting

Additional Documentation for Hugo PaperMod Post Cover Image Here's how to set up a cover image in Hugo PaperMod posts, including the use of relative paths in page bundles to ensure the image links are correctly resolved.

I've been using Hugo Papermod's Cover Image wrong in the past, that's why my links didn't use to have cover images here. Now I know. #GoHugo

#NBALeaguePass at β‚±499 per month is expensive considering that that because of the timezone difference I might just be able to watch 4x in a month, usually during weekends only. β‚±199 per game is crazy stupid! #NBA should know better.

Custom Caddy Docker image with Cloudflare DNS challenge support Configure a custom Caddy Docker image to use Cloudflare’s DNS challenge, securing HTTPS without exposing ports 80/443, ideal for firewall, CGNAT, and load-balancer setups.

So, it appears you also need to #Cloudflare DNS Challenge configuration in your #Caddyfile if you're using Cloudflare access policy for your service: deuts.org/p/caddy-dock... #Caddy

Any Docker app that insists on #Docker volumes and not support volume binds will be a no go moving forward. I'm looking at you #SearXNG, #Grafana, and #Prometheus.

Dealing with Docker volumes is just a pain - restoring always comes with annoying permission issues. I much prefer using volume binds for persistence – full control over the file system, no guesswork on data location, and backups are a breeze. Anyone else feel the same? #Docker #DevOps #Containers

GitHub - thomiceli/opengist: Self-hosted pastebin powered by Git, open-source alternative to Github Gist. Self-hosted pastebin powered by Git, open-source alternative to Github Gist. - thomiceli/opengist

My wishlist for #OpenGist:
1. Ability to add custom metadata
2. Home should point to All (existing) gists, not new gist
3. Better search, include description, url and any custom metadata in the search parameters and results.

Is it just me? I find so much insight from running `docker stats` regularly via cron, logging them, and data modeling and analyzing via #PowerQuery and #PowerPivot #DAX compared to what I have with the #Prometheus, #Grafana, CAdvisor, and Node-Exporter. The latter further consumes system resources.
