I feel like I owe Eric Trump a giant apology.

I think we just found the 'world's dumbest Trump."

I see people making the point that if this keeps going, we won't have a nation.

But if we have a system incapable of bringing criminals to justice for their criminal acts, without fear or favor, then we ALREADY don't have a nation.

Trump, claiming Iran would have attacked the US within a week if we didn't strike first.

If this were true, he would have went to congress and got proper legal authorization.

Trump has now conducted 42 boat strikes, killing nearly 160 people.

Remember: no judge or jury has found these boats were trafficking drugs. We're simply taking Trump's word for it.

He’s unilaterally acting as judge, jury, and executioner.

This is a danger to us all.

This is how our government has been corrupted:

1) Donors give huge sums to elect politicians
2) Elected officials rewrite rules in donors' favor
3) Donors make huge profit
4) Repeat

We must get big money out of politics. It’s the root of all evil in Washington.

We actually have to put in place a punishment that is define in existing law or else we really will be engaging in a witch hunt.

If he is found guilty of offenses covered by sec. 3 of the 14th, then we don't have to worry about exiling--many of them have life in prison or execution as penalties.

Trump says he won’t sign any other bills until the SAVE Act is passed, which requires voters to show proof of citizenship with expensive documents like passports.

Reminder: noncitizen voting is already illegal and incredibly rare. This is about voter suppression, plain and simple.

If you’re roughly my age, it’s wild to reflect on the optimism for the future Americans felt when Obama was elected — young Americans spontaneously took to the streets to celebrate! — and contrast with what we face today. The falloff over the past 18 years is hard to process.

Hatred, ignorance, fear, greed, and discrimination are viruses, magnified by suffering, carried in buckets, spilled onto the world.

We cannot eliminate them by actions that magnify hatred, ignorance, fear, greed, discrimination and suffering - only by actions that relieve them.

You cannot separate the art from the artist when the artist is materially benefiting from every additional sale, brand deal, etc that comes their way. Either you're OK supporting their bigoted views financially, or you aren't. Extremely black and white situation

Arrest the goddamn president

For those who have forgotten the past 40 years:

Tax cuts for the rich
...don’t trickle down

Boosting military spending
...doesn’t bring peace

Slashing regulations
...doesn’t create jobs

Folks, we’ve seen this all before.

Electorates who refuse to learn the lessons of history are doomed to repeat them?

Inspectors General must be independent & nonpartisan. Reports say DOL IG Anthony D’Esposito plans to run for Congress. I asked if he’s running or doing campaign activity while serving as IG. He refused to answer. That is concerning given reports he put his mistress and fiancee’s daughter on payroll.
