Finally figured out how I wanna shade this yay!

Here's a showcase of the actual in-game art style of the game. We're combining pixel art characters with voxel art models of the same detail density. Shown below is a solar panel tree. It spreads its panels during the day and rolls up at night.

Here's some early concept art for one of our creatures (the torch gecko). This was the first Elemera designed for our prototype biome. We spend a lot of time thinking about how each creature fits into their environment and also how their unique physiology would influence their behaviors.

Today we're showcasing a piece of concept art by our wonderful artist @nagihikodayo.bsky.social involving a standoff between two of our rival species.

A whimsical, cute, & dreamy witch flutters in the air, adorned in flowy white, iridescent robes. She dons a comically large witch hat which matches the flowing robes, as all witches must have, of course, oversized hats. She floats in the air elegantly above a particularly whimsy pastel yellow moon, affixed with a rabbit head shadow complete with bunny ears upon the moons dark side. The background depicts golden hour, as the sun is just about to meet the horizon, the day winding down. The sky is marred with hues of pastel purples, pinks, and slight blue undertones. An abstract cloudy-boarder runs across all four sides of the artwork, with a dreamy cloud-like appearance.

The same moon witch illustration, but the colors are now flat and a pale yellow, a simplistic purple-gray greets you in the background. A more simplistic version of the prior piece. It has no boarder this time. The simplicity warms the heart in a different way, I feel.
