Pet Portrait of my friend, Another_Distortion (on IG)'s pup, Mallomar. I don't know what kind of dog she is. But she's black with white patterns. She has a white chest, a white stripe going down her forehead to her muzzle/nose, and there are some black spots in the white near her nose. Her paws are white, the tip of her tail is white. I'll be resketching the flower composition tomorrow.

Large pencil drawing of the Cambridge church Our Lady and the English Martyrs done from the roof of Cintra House. This is on a large sheet of paper which I mistakenly thought was OK but you can see how badly this has foxed. I also did a large oil painting from this drawing but someone else has that now and I'm not sure I have a photo of it.
This is a detailed drawing of the Catholic church known as OLEM in Cambridge, done from the roof of a nearby building. It's a shame I drew this on thick but poor quality paper which has badly foxed. I'll keep it though (in a cellophane art storage bag so it doesn damage other work).

There are 4 color thumbnails of a giant floral/earth monster staring down at a tiny group of people on a raised platform. The monster is surrounded by and blends in with the environment of foliage and rocks. There are 3 slime ladies, also, blending into the environment.
Still designing the monster and there are 3 slime ladies (I blame my friends) hiding in the environment. Also, there's a giant mirror on its forehead. The goal is to finish one and turn it into a print.
I like all of them, really.

There are so many fucked up things with the current administration that it's hard to focus on one but this recent move is basically a death sentence for the planet. I've been involved with more boots on the ground actions over the years than I can count and this really bums me out.

Not a huge deal (hopefully), but an important lesson to not automatically trust a website because it aligns with your ideology.
And before the incoming argument of "well, yeah, but you can't drill that everywhere .. etc" I'd like to point out that we can't drill everywhere because we're not developing that technology as we're focusing on products that eat as much materials and chemicals as possible.
Because money.
While I celebrate the achievement, I can't help to think that one geothermal power plant would've had way smaller fingerprint on the landscape and would've required a microscopic fraction of the chemicals to build.
