It was a blast sitting down with Stephen and Jason to talk about cameras, real HDR, and⦠yes, AI in photography. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gv7B...
βI also feel like it gives me permission to think of myself as a photographer for a little while, not just a person with a phone.β

Everyone who buys Mark II gets Mark III!
If photos made their way into iCloud, sounds 100% like an iCloud issue. Itβs actually impossible for apps to remove photos from a library without getting permission each time.
We wish there was more we could do. We even built a βRescueβ feature for when iCloud fails to save at all. But not here. π€¦π»ββοΈ
Woah. Sorry you ran into that. In the past, weβve found this to be an issue within iCloud, but we want to get to the bottom of this. Could you ping support@lux.camera?

Phew. It's been a busy few days for your favorite anthropomorphic brand account.
Before I pass out, just want to say thank you for the positive vibes, constructive feedback, and yes, even bug reports. We're so excited for the months ahead.
Have a great weekend!
We test on lots of old RAWs, going back to the iPhone XS, and I'll say the results are noticeable across the board!
Hello Bluesky! After over a year of development, we're excited to announce the public preview of Halide Mark III.

Our iPhone 17 Pro camera review has arrived! www.lux.camera/iphone-17-pr...
iOS 26 and iPhone 17 Pro are here. Hereβs the latest on our updates - and a first tiny peek at Halide Mark III www.lux.camera/rewrites-and...
Stay tuned for our iPhone camera reviews βΒ there might be two this year.
iPhone 17 Pro is going to be a camera beast. ProRes RAW, 48MP cameras all around, overhauled processing pipeline for digital zoom, vapor chamber cooling for extended shooting.
iPhone Air gets a single, large 48MP camera. With a new, more AI-heavy 2Γ pipeline and discrete crop modes.
iPhone 17s get a square, doubled-size front-facing camera sensor. Makes a lot of sense, and will get a ton of use by users with the Center Stage feature auto-framing the shot.
Good morning - taking a break from our hard work on Halide Mark III to comment on any new camera news. π
Whoβs excited?
exciting!

A year ago, we launched Kino β Halideβs video sidekick. We couldnβt have imagined the incredible rollercoaster of its first year: topping the App Store charts, a cameo in the iPhone 16 keynote, and winning the App Store Awards as iPhone App of the Year!
Happy birthday, Kino π₯³
It's not you: HDR confuses tons of people. In our new blog post, @sandofsky.com finally explains what HDR actually means, the problem it presents, and three ways - including our new Halide way - to solve it. www.lux.camera/what-is-hdr/
Love seeing Spectre used in the wild!
(Fun fact: We shipped Spectre right before the pandemic and had a lot of fun marketing planned around βmake crowds disappear in touristy places!β - that wasnβt quite necessary in 2020 π₯²)
