He said they had "numerous discussions with every team in the league" but didn't want to make deals for the sake of making deals.
The trade deadline passed more than 30 minutes ago, and it appears Sergei Bobrovsky and A.J. Greer are staying with the Panthers.
Florida is working on contract extensions for both players, per The Athletic.
