You guys I think I made my Rook too hot
Like I think all my other dragon age characters are of average hotness imo, but I think this Rook is too attractive for her backstory lmao
How dare you, sir
Gonna exclusively call you that now π

But whatβsβ¦ 3 more lol
EYYYY NICE! Howβd you finally get it?
Ugh that sucks! I would probably just try to cut or warp the plastic at this point π©
Truly tv screws are the worst and Iβm sorry this is happening
Well what can I say, I was born in the darkness
Wellβ¦ youβre not wrong
Eh hot glue wonβt bond well to metal, which is why I would suggest an epoxy. That being said it might hard to find one that will bond well to metal BUT epoxy in generally is much stronger when cured! Might be a possibility but also might be messy lol
Locking pliers are definitely a must! They really do grip in a way we cannot with just regular pliers! And softening the panel is a good idea. Anything you can do to get more clearance in the screw to actually grip it and get it out of there!
The other thought I have is likeβ¦ so youβre trying to get this panel off the tv right? Is this the last screw left? If the panel is plastic you could try to pop it off with this screw still in it and *gently* cut or break the plastic to get it off the screw, then go try to use pliers w/ more room
Oh interestingβ¦
Hmm ok well my other suggesting in that case would be trying to use something strong like an epoxy to bond the top of the screw to another thing and hope that bond holds enough to start twisting the screw. Might be tricky to find something that will bond well to metal tho!
If youβre also having trouble holding onto the thing the stuck screw is in, like itβs small and moves around, I would also suggest picking up some quick clamps and attach it very tightly to sturdy piece of furniture. Also if you have a different sort of issue, DM me! I can try to help!!
If youβre trying to get a stripped screw out of something I suggest picking up a pair of locking pliers. You turn the screw on the bottom and adjust the distance between the jaws so it can create a tight fit on the stuck screw and then clamp them down. The pliers will act like a big handle!
Assorted potential title cards for my TAS project, made for if and when I ever manage to make a short animated film! I have a file filled with many more, but these are some of my favourite treatments.

being an artist is just decades of going "ugh I wish I knew how to draw" over and over again until you die

Hazel and I gave a presentation for some senior illustration students at Emily Carr today! Unfortunately I didn't get any photos but I do have this slide from our powerpoint to share with everyone.

Over 1,000 Ubisoft workers around the world have walked off the job.
In response to a return-to-office mandate, layoffs, and the cancellation of several games, workers launched a three-day strike.
The workers walked out in response to five French unions issuing the strike call.

The burnout and general craziness of life is definitely not helping either. But also I should prob try to like pump the brakes on expecting huge big obvious leaps in development.
