In my opinion this is a symptom of the eight episode season that streamers seem unwilling to step away from. Thirteen episodes used to be a full season. We used to be a proper country.

The Frenchman, Thibault, who has dedicated himself to researching the experiment after the fact has gone to the Stanford archives, done research, says the official narrative is a lie and provides evidence including both audio and visual. It’s incredible Zimbardo was able to get away with it.
The series shows lots of clips of him beaming in front of cameras and it gives the impression he was a man more concerned with chasing fame than doing actual science.
Watching the National Geographic series on the Stanford Prison Experiment. Recording occurred prior to Zimbardo’s passing so of course they interviewed him. His response to criticisms of his “experiment” are extremely shallow. While the criticisms have actual depth he just writes them off.
Prison labor is fucked. Go to prison, get pushed into doing low-pay (slave) labor, the worst of which could be something like fighting forest fires risking life and limb, when you finally get out you can’t go and use that skill to find meaningful work because they won’t hire a felon.
