Over 1000 civilians dead, and we're letting Trump use UK bases to further his war.
Britain should stand firm against Trump's illegal warmongering, and stop these bombers landing on UK soil.

The lying, racist Mail on Sunday going Full Trump after its Far Right candidate got spanked in the by-election.
We need proper controls on dishonest journalism that peddles racial hatred.

Politicians tell us they can fix poverty with economic growth, or labour market reforms, or easy money.
But all of these fixes just obscure the fact that the poverty of those at the bottom is a direct consequence of the wealth of those at the top. graceblakeley.substack.com/p/the-uk-is-...
Regardless of which party you support, this is a key point by @georgemonbiot.bsky.social:
"With Proportional Representation, no one would ever need to worry about splitting the vote again. We could vote for the parties we actually wanted."
Wouldn't that be nice? To vote with hope, not fear?
Is Farage running scared?

Water bills up again.
The Green Party will lower bills by ending the privatised water company rip off. Water must be taken into public ownership now.
Reform UK is unfit to govern. It shows.

Let me get this straight in my head.
Trump would have us believe that his morality is of a higher standard than the rule of International Law?

Worlds richest families have never been richer - Walton's lead with net worth of $513bn
This is obscene. Why can't other politicians say that?
The 25 richest families are collectively $358.7 billion richer than a year ago, with a combined fortune totaling $2.9 trillion.
Since David Frost has NEVER been right about anything at any point when it comes to Brexit, this feels like a strong endorsement for our participation in Erasmus.
The govt says itβs taxing the super-richβ¦ but it doesnβt seem to know what that means.
Last week the Chancellor was asked about her Budget's impact on the richest 1%, she said they only analyse impact by deciles (10% slices of the pop).

Again, look at personal impact of immigration. One person.
Just so we're clear, one incident of alleged anti-semitism by a musician = a major national scandal that should be roundly condemned.
Multiple incidents of alleged anti-semitism from the man leading the race to run the country = a load of nothing that should be completely ignored
Graphic saying: Live music from The Small Strings at the taproom
Last gig of the year! Come along to the Double Barrelled taproom this from 7pm evening for our festive shindig. Gonna be a lot of fun. Book your table if you want a seat as it's likely to be a busy one :-)
Well, will you look at that! Great news for our gig at @southstreetarts.bsky.social in March... not so great if you didn't manage to get a ticket...

BOSS: I need you to arrest those protestors who want us to stop selling death bombs that are used to kill babies.
Brexit dividend: our swimming waters are MUCH more polluted than any EU country's because we no longer have to follow EU environmental law since Brexit so water companies can get away with just about anything.
(Just one of many pesky EU rules Brexiters hated.)

Another day, another attack on immigrants. Not by the mobs swilling outside of asylum hotels, but by the Prime Minister.

"What Britain looks like after Brexit" A piece by Daniel Hannan which is the least accurate thing anyone has ever written about Brexit. (This was the title graphic to it.)
It's here! It's finally here! It's Daniel Hannan Day!
The future he promised everyone a mere 2 days before the Brexit referendum is so exciting, I think my heart may burst with joy when I step outside and experience it for myself.
(Read it. You deserve a laugh.)

Yet more evidence that party funding rules desperately need reform.
British politics is painfully open to capture by wealthy vested interests.
And to the oil magnates, tech-bros and right-wing ideologues emboldened by Trump, the sums needed to capture UK parties are not even loose change.
