There has been a huge amount of solar activity recently, but tonight passes the 'tell people that the northern lights might be visible in Ireland' threshold.

A lot of that stuff you can't just pick back up. Once it's gone it's gone, or will take years to reconstitute.

I don't really care that the cherry tomatoes have been cleared, but @nickyryan.ie profoundly just said: "Do you know how easy tomato seeds grow? There is going to be a huge amount of tomatoes that start growing there, which is a beautiful thing."

A 'winner' graphic of the book and the category.
A picture of the three of us holding the award itself.
I might need to pinch myself one more time just to be sure, but we picked up an Irish Book Award last night for The Last Disco.
A massive thank you to The Last Word's listeners, and to everyone who shared their story with us for the book.
