Less rain and MUCH more heat set for this weekend. Stay cool!
We expect thunderstorms to stay north of our area through the weekend, but we'll be watching. High pressure scoots away and opens the door for more widespread rain and storms next week.
None. Neither. No winner please
You said it brother!
Once again keeping an eye on storms to our northwest for some potential overnight rumbles, but most of the rain is expected to fall Wednesday.
If these don't pan out, NEXT week is also looking promising, with plenty of heat in between:
June: Coming in HUMID.
Best shot at rain this week looks to be Wednesday.
Sounds delightful
I can’t believe I haven’t heard of that one
It’s not a want, it’s a NEED
More rain & rumbles coming!
Happy Easter weekend, bsky fam!
Eyeing a storm chance for our northern counties Saturday, with a better chance Sunday afternoon and evening.
Next week looks active, too! Stay tuned.
An all out SURGE of gulf moisture is coming soon and will be with us until we push in some MUCH cooler air by next week. Until then, couple storm chances (some surer than others) to sift through:
Bottom line: PLENTY of dry spots to be found throughout the weekend, run of the mill stuff on Friday, with an outside shot at severe weather on Sunday. Stay tuned and we'll keep fine tuning!
We're far from the main event, but a couple storms will be possible as a weak front drifts into the early Saturday overnight and through the day Sunday. As said front moves southeast, there's a CHANCE we trigger some daytime activity with a little surface heating.
Sunday is where the severe threat is HIGHER, but overall chance for rain is LOWER.
We'll be on the southwestern edge of a large system that will move over the Lower 48 to wrap up the weekend and go into next week.
Bookending the weekend with rain/storm chances:
Friday looks less than threatening for severe weather, but "inconvenient" is the word we'll use, assuming we find a couple more rounds of showers and a couple storms.
🚨NEW PODCAST EPISODE🚨
@nicolegriff_ and I hit all the biggest questions like:
- Who were the standout performers at Texas A&M's Pro Day?
- Is spring practice the appetizer for the fall and, if so, what app would it be?

On second thought don't answer that
Why are all of the Astros Aggies on Bsky and none of the Rangers Aggies holy moly
Opening day on my mind
Localized totals of 3" or more possible before the end of this coming weekend, especially southwest!
Won't be raining at every moment, but start taking the rain gear along with you Thursday morning and don't stop till Friday evening.
1-2" with localized higher totals coming our way Thursday and Friday, with an outside chance at some more storms to wrap up Sunday.
Doing a FB Live talking severe potential into tonight. Search KBTX Media
Recency has us worried about hail (I get it). Let’s prepare and keep watching. Good news is we should be clear by midnight ish if not before
Flavor? My inspection tells me banana fudge
