Got a new background for my battle system, and thought I would try a system to randomize the layout a bit for each battle. Very rough right now but palette swapping is working. #screenshotsaturday

The Microsoft launcher is surprisingly good. Did everything I wanted.
This week I have been working on the dex for my monster catching game. After a few more commissions I should have all the sprites I need by the end of the month #screenshotsaturday
Spent this week designing and commissioning the final set of monsters I want for my game. Threw together this tool I'm using to preview potential teams. #screenshotsaturday
Also if you are looking to do pooled scroll rects in Unity (like for lists with hundreds of items) I would reccomend this free asset: assetstore.unity.com/packages/tools
/gui/super-scroll-rect-217400
It is the best of the three free solutions I found
Another one of my infinite side projects. A gamified Todolist like Habitica where completing ToDos earns you currency that you use to obtain and power up monsters. Implemented a dynamic scrolling list for viewing all your "Todomon".
An important decision #screenshotsaturday
Revamping my dialogue system a bit today and added in all the character portraits I will need for the intro area
Updated the public build of my Pokemon Style Map Generator to include some visual improvements (nicer trees and rocks) and to give you the ability to actually run around the generated region and encounter monsters. #screenshotsaturday
Started working on my monster catching project again. Fixing up the intro area and adding transitions when you walk through doors.
A photo of the crowd from our annual District Arcade. This year we held it at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library in D.C., a much bigger space than we've been at before, and it was PACKED. 35 locally made video games and there were times when you couldn't walk across the huge space for all the people there. Exciting stuff.
To sum up our year, @igda.org, how about our biggest District Arcade ever? 500+ attendees and 35 locally-made games. Game developers in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia: we host at least two in-person meetups every month. Come hang out!
Were you using One Pace? One Pace is especially good for Dressrosa, in the later arcs it isn't as necessary but it cuts out all the filler, which in Dressrosa is half the runtime lol
Little late for #screenshotsaturday but I have figured out how to add gyms and other buildings with interiors to my procedural pokemon style region generator.
More work on the level editor. Added saving, importing and exporting so you can make complex levels now. I made a level I thought might look cool but it turned out to be too easy #screenshotsaturday
Finally got around to trying out GB Studio and it went well. I made a simple SHMUP for my monthly jam game. Recorded this on a GB emulator. #screenshotsaturday
Working on the sequel to PictoPull. Got the basics of the 3D level editor working. Soon you'll be able to make 3D voxel levels. #screenshotsaturday
I prefer when people upload a single sprite sheet with the full line. Then I don't have to click on the various images, and they don't get cropped on the timeline. Speaking only as a viewer/consumer.
A hungry crab saves the Chesapeake Bay!
