Defeating it without holy water is an incredibly difficult feat!
You'll need luck on your side.
I can't recommend it.

Incidentally, the command to unlock the Sorcer Striker's hidden aircraft in Battle Garegga is:
After inserting credits, press
Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, ABC, Start.
Yes, the 'Konami Code' familiar to Japanese shooter players.
I wonder if it's called the same thing overseas...
Today I played Battle Garegga at my regular arcade.
Cleared it on one coin with Dragon Man Miyamoto.
Also took down the Black Heart & B.H. Mark IIβsaid to be the galaxy's strongest fighter for rear attacks.
The combination of ninjutsu and dragon is just the best, isn't it?

Thank you!!
It went well today.
Ninja techniques really are powerful!!
Thank you!!
So it's generally called the Konami Code, but some people refer to it as the Contra Code, I see.
That's brilliant insight...
Our band's drummer absolutely loves Contra, so I'll tell him straight away! π₯
Thank you!
We are a four-piece unit of musicians and gamers!
We have provided music for several games in Japan, but we would be delighted if our music were ever adopted for Netherlands-made game soundtracks too!

I love the Gradius games, so really enjoyed it!
This Grim Reaper is seriously tough!
I had to restart multiple times to defeat it using the cross.
Thank you!
Playing my favorite game music is so much fun!
The other day, I had a fruit sandwich at my favourite shop!
They became quite the craze in Japan a few years back, though initially I too thought, "Surely a sandwich should have ham?"
Trying it, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was π°
It was a good adventure!

One reason I love winter is that it makes my leather jacket and metal T-shirt look brilliant.
This T-shirt is from Ozzy's first album.
Randy Rhoads had already passed away by the time I was born, but his melodic, classical-influenced guitar playing has influenced the songs I write.

YAMAOH defeated the Grim Reaper in Castlevania!
While the common strategy involves using holy water technically, I went head-on against him.
He was an incredibly strong opponent.
I only won because I got lucky.
Nice!
The shock of playing Gradius, Street Fighter II, and Biohazard for the first time is something I'll never forget.
I never played Galaxy Force II on a moving cabinet, but I loved the BGM and even copied the bass solo!
Looking forward to hanging out here too (kyo-ji)

The Nine Games That Define Me
Many of these titles marked turning points not just as a gamer, but as a musician too.
I wonder if any overlap with your favourites, international friends...

Fantom Iris's guitarist PATTZN is playing guitar and bass!
The track is "OPEN YOUR HEART" the main theme from Sonic Adventure.
Hey, I'll play with you some other time!!
A bit late, but happy 30th anniversary, PokΓ©mon! β¨
My earliest memory is perched on my dad's back watching the screen as he played. I still remember nearly all the BGMs well enough to play them today.
One of the games that will stay with me for life.
Thank you for bringing it into the world!

Among band sounds, I particularly loved heavy metal and progressive rock.
As a teenager, I went to meet-and-greets and gigs for Skid Row and Ozzy, and I still cherish my Motley Crue Nicky Sixx model bass (Blackbird).
RUSH and Dream Theater especially influenced my bass playing!
Bass: kyo-ji
Imagine being as happy as this guy. Amazing.

Fantom Iris drummer Yamaoh will perform the classic song "Power of Anger" used in Stage 1 of LIFE FORCE.
In Japan, it's famous under the title "Salamander(ζ²ηΎ
ζΌθ)"
Have a great day, everyone!
Today I played 'Darkstalkers' Revenge' (Japanese title: 'Vampire Hunter') at the arcade!
I cleared the game with both Demitri and Morrigan on one coin each.
Even now, many people draw illustrations of it β it really is a superb design, isn't it?
Bass:kyo-ji
YAMAOH is tackling Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse!
I figured out the pattern for this zone with falling rocks after dying countless times.
Switching to Alucard and transforming into a bat makes it easier.
But I'm going to challenge it on my own strength!
My 9 are kind of all over the place, but that's because my tastes are all over the place! And I guess only one of these games is newer than the 90s! π

Thank you!
I thoroughly enjoyed reminiscing about the old days!
Huitzil (Phobos in the Japanese version) was such a splendid character!
I particularly liked the contrast between his ancient design and the mech adored by small animals.π¦πΏοΈ
