The song is Battle 2 from the popular RPG Final Fantasy II (released as Final Fantasy IV in Japan).
Its fast-paced beat and tense musical progression really help pump up the spirit to face today's challenges!

Defeating it without holy water is an incredibly difficult feat!

Today I played Battle Garegga at my regular arcade.

Cleared it on one coin with Dragon Man Miyamoto.
Also took down the Black Heart & B.H. Mark II—said to be the galaxy's strongest fighter for rear attacks.

The combination of ninjutsu and dragon is just the best, isn't it?

They became quite the craze in Japan a few years back, though initially I too thought, "Surely a sandwich should have ham?"

Trying it, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was 🍰

While the common strategy involves using holy water technically, I went head-on against him.
He was an incredibly strong opponent.
I only won because I got lucky.

The shock of playing Gradius, Street Fighter II, and Biohazard for the first time is something I'll never forget.

I never played Galaxy Force II on a moving cabinet, but I loved the BGM and even copied the bass solo!

My earliest memory is perched on my dad's back watching the screen as he played. I still remember nearly all the BGMs well enough to play them today.
One of the games that will stay with me for life.
Thank you for bringing it into the world!

Among band sounds, I particularly loved heavy metal and progressive rock.

As a teenager, I went to meet-and-greets and gigs for Skid Row and Ozzy, and I still cherish my Motley Crue Nicky Sixx model bass (Blackbird).

RUSH and Dream Theater especially influenced my bass playing!

Today I played 'Darkstalkers' Revenge' (Japanese title: 'Vampire Hunter') at the arcade!

I cleared the game with both Demitri and Morrigan on one coin each.

Even now, many people draw illustrations of it – it really is a superb design, isn't it?

YAMAOH is tackling Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse!
I figured out the pattern for this zone with falling rocks after dying countless times.
Switching to Alucard and transforming into a bat makes it easier.
But I'm going to challenge it on my own strength!

My 9 are kind of all over the place, but that's because my tastes are all over the place! And I guess only one of these games is newer than the 90s! 😅
