Some customers may notice a chlorine taste or odor in March because of the switch from chloramine (a combination of chlorine and ammonia) to chlorine.

The North Carolina Department of Transportation will conduct nightly closures March 1-6 on both Interstate 85 and N.C. 86 in Hillsborough. Bridge maintenance work will begin at 9 p.m. and finish at 6 a.m., weather permitting.

REMINDER: Please remove all seasonal items from gravesites in the Town Cemetery by Saturday, Feb. 28. Decorations are not permitted on the ground between March 1 and Nov. 1 due to the need for mowing and other grounds maintenance.
