When I thought "Hey I should upgrade and buy a taller bookcase with another shelf"- Terrible idea.

Man books are heavy, switching one out for another sucks.

Jealous of the places that are apparently starting the new year expecting 3-4ft of snow.

Another decently warm day today with a whole lot of zero snow all December.

I think the only thing I'm doing for 2026 that's "goal" related is more nature walks with friends.

Looking back on 2025 I really enjoyed just walking through parks with good company and chatting about life.

I'm still debating on whether to buy an Atlas Headrest for mine.

On the plus side by the time I'm tired enough to not be holding my head up any more- I get away from the computer.

But when I want to lean back and watch a Youtube video it really tempts me.

There's a guy with a Harley that always passes by, and I swear he owes my dog money. He must live near by, on nice days the same looking one will pass by at least twice. Every time, she'll freak out and start barking up a storm.

I hate that I own a $1300 phone with two useless physical buttons:

Google Assistant that took over the power button

Moto AI that has a dedicated "AI button"

Disabled both AI and now two buttons just do absolutely nothing

My biggest UX pet peeve is the death of actual link elements. Stop making clickable div elements. I want to middle click or right click > open in new tab

One of the fun things about a folding phone is that it's smaller (and square) size makes taking it out feel like checking a pocket watch- despite the fact that I also wear a wrist watch.
