I was not ready for this red-tailed hawk to dive and body slam right in front of me - but I did get some cool video of it trying to flush out the prey it missed and heading back to its perch.

Spent 7.5 hours at Tommy Thompson park today because I heard about the one king eider who's been here for the winter and I had to see him before he left.
Also rain into a pair of Cooper's hawks, red-breasted merganser and common goldeneye.

Ran into someone at the store who I know through work. They said "oh hey, you look different, did you do something...?"
I answered no, actually I get this all the time, you've only ever seen me outside wearing a hat so you didn't know I don't have hair.
Cut my fantasy firefighter short story by a few hundred words, down to 4837. Tightened up somewhat, but not sure I'm happy with the epilogue. Decide for yourself when it publishes in early access on March 1st!
