I'm just saying, whether it's your fault or not, I think introducing 500+ test errors with a 4 line code change entitles you to a quick little "sit-down and reflect" break.

Why even be in a writing class if you're not going to do the writing? π
This is extra concerning because his original task was equally mindless as asking ChatGPT to do his thinking. He's now using ChatGPT to make things actively MORE complicated because he HAS to include it in his thought process, even when it doesn't make sense.
Turns out, he didn't run the script; he just gave ChatGPT the config file and the .csv and told it to update the config file. Not only was this WAY more effort, it is almost infinitely more likely to introduce errors, not to mention the problem of submitting potentially secret data to a third party.
One of our junior engineers is succumbing to ChatGPT brainrot. We have a script to streamline updating an app from a .csv file. Said junior was asked to take the .csv, put it in a specific folder, and just run the script. He said he did it and merged the changes. Cool. Easy. No concerns.
"Everything in this picture is Snoop Dogg," an image in which all elements are pictures of Snoop Dog recolored to be the ground, tree, fruit, sun, and sky.
A plate with five slices of sourdough toast topped with roasted tomatoes, scrambled eggs (with onions and peppers) and a slice of applewood smoked gruyere. Also on the plate are two small, oddly-shaped slices of bacon.
I promised myself I would post actual gamedev content before more food pics, but today's breakfast went INSANE.
Sourdough toast topped with roasted tomatoes, scrambled eggs (with onions and peppers), and a slice of applewood smoked gruyere. Co-starring the weirdest-shaped bacon I have ever made.

Bonus points because I thought of this joke a week ago (in the shower) and only just now remembered to post it (and order shampoo).
I haven't started Severance yet, but if I understand the concept correctly, I experience it every day when In The Shower Marc remembers he is out of shampoo, but the second Out Of The Shower Marc takes control, that information is lost until the next day.
A poster for the film Death of a Unicorn
Just watched Death of a Unicorn. Fuck the critics; it was exactly what it wanted to be and it was great at it.
Must it be?
Three copies of the same Rollercoaster Tycoon shirt, with a guest thinking "The scenery here is wonderful!"
I got some Rollercoaster Tycoon shirts for me and my sisters. I got the wrong one, so I asked for a replacement. The replacement came in wrong, too. Surely, I thought, they would have a human coordinate the replacement if I asked for another to make sure I got the right one the third time.
Nope.
Just like the War on Drugs
A large pile of Taco Bell sauce packets.
To be clear, "10 of each sauce" was an exaggeration, but not as much of one as you'd think.
Taco Bell Drive-Thru Employee: Do you want sauce?
Me: No, thank you.
Taco Bell Drive-Thru Employee: Okay here's 10 of each sauce.
Me: ...okay.
I thought I hallucinated this song for a while because I was the only person I knew who had ever heard it.
Will do! You might enjoy learning that I've been working on my engine long enough that this will actually be the second time I've upgraded the major SDL version; I started it with SDL 1.2!
Nice! The new audio stuff was a big draw for moving to SDL3; SDL2's was pretty basic and I ended up just dropping Wwise in there to handle audio, but that came with a whole host of issues, and I'd like more control over the subsystem.
Did you start in SDL3, or did you upgrade from 2? I have a ton of stuff in my engine running in SDL2 and I'm nervous to try to advance, but I like some of the new features.

A scoop of bread pudding with white chocolate chips, covered in a raspberry sauce.
I know a lot of you started following me thanks to the gamedev starter pack, and I WILL get back to posting in that vein, but I made a FANTASTIC looking bread pudding (with raspberry sauce) and I NEEDED to share.
