Just because fruit is low hanging doesn't mean it's edible or safe to eat.
Yep, I admit - I have bought both the print and kindle versions of the same book by mistake - Do the Work - Steven Pressfield - Kindle in 2016 and then last year the paperback ๐คฆโโ๏ธ
Does the world need another f'in' buyer's journey? No? well @iantruscott.me did one anyway - come get AMPED - rockstarcmo.com/get-your-buy...
While you listen to some bluenote and wonder why the Q&A platform Blue-it never caught on?
Thank you! - it's gorgeous! ๐ ๐ชถ
I'm a sucker for procrastinating on a project while I research the best tools - @annhandley.bsky.social describes this beautifully in her newsletter today - annhandley.optin.com/newsletter/t...
Nice! My wife loves this book and often re-reads it.
๐ D-R-O-P-P-E-D-! -> The Rose and Rockstar: Our virtual bar gets its own show - but what hasn't changed is that @robertrose.me shares a fantastic cocktail while he and @iantruscott.me take a little more time to chat about a marketing topic for the week....

I like what you did there, I forgot about commenting last year - it seems following the bets on print, and the zombie X didn't quite work out :-/ :-)

Love tiny desk - discovered it during the pandemic - pretty much got me through it :-)
Latest role/client, small team, more hands on, spend a lot of time deep in Hubspot. So with some downtime over the holidays, gave their education/certification a whirl. HS have always led with good content, training is the same. Yes, the product is getting expensive, but this is value for customers
Thanks mate!
Ebeeneezer Good?

Sorry!
You said "serious Q" - we do have a problem, that we marketers have ruined a lot of the good words for what you are describing.
Seth's right, but good lord, I always spend too long thinking about tools before I start to do the work. A book? What will I write it with. A website? Let's try this doohickey...
๐ Or... like working for an Enterprise CMS vendor and being forced to use the product... no.. no.. I'd be fine with Wordpress...

Nice share - the problem with describing Bluesky (or any platform we've got hopelessly optimistic about) as "like Twitter in 2009" -is it's not 2009. Not just the platform biz models, but everyone wanting their shot at being Gary V, the hustle on all sides - all that was being discovered back then.
Maybe the notion of Santa Claus is creepy and they nailed it? Do you mean choosing Santa's voice for the chat?
I should have tagged you @tomp.bsky.social - I forgot you were here on Bluesky. Nice work!
Now that zero-click and AI are playing a bigger role in search - a new kid on the digital marketing block "AI search visibility optimization" (ASVO?) - interesting piece on @techcrunch.com - techcrunch.com/2024/12/18/a...
