Hey, some early pieces for my next ttrpg Loom Wraith! It’s Gorhic Horror through a Victorian Era lens I guess is the best description. And everything you might expect with that tag on it.
Not ideal.
This 12th century Lewis Chessman piece depicts the berserker shield-biting practice of Viking warriors who gnawed on the edges of their shields in a rage-filled frenzy meant to terrorize their enemies.

These are the people who want access to your sensitive voting records and who my team fights in court every day.
Have airstrikes by a hostile foreign country ever produced this outcome? The reactionary centrist blob keeps pretending this is part of a duly considered long-term strategy from Trump but that is not how he operates and even if it was, this is a dumb strategy.
Dragon Quest VII !
A sketchbook is a kind of crime scene.
A map of a fantasy kingdom, with regions north-east to south-west including the Bound Forest, the Riverlands, the Reach, Spiral, the Vale, the Banner, the Coast, and the Hinterlands. It has a hex grid, factional borders, and regional boundaries naming different forests, mountain ranges, famrlands and strongholds.
So it turns out there's an upper bound to how many times I can say "if *I* ran a cataphract game, here's how I'd do it" before someone pays me to just fucking do it already. Here's a bit about how that happened, and my thoughts that led into the design.

One of the things I really love about the Risen Empire in SUCCESSION is that it combines two of my favorite tropes; the Eighty Worlds is an incomprehensibly vast, ancient, and powerful realm, but it's also a petty warlord-state, ruled by fear, held together by force, and carved out in living memory.
