Big time!
@sucsforyou
Hey I'm Andrea with Sucs for You in Houston, Texas! My book: 'The Succulent Manual: A guide to care and repair for all climates' - paperback, eBook, and online: https://bio.site/sucsforyou YT: youtube.com/sucsforyou #succulents #plants
Big time!
Yes but for purely selfish and silly reasons. I like to taste the nectar, I hope to get cool seeds if it crosses with another haw, and I look forward to pulling the dry stems from the plant after months of letting them 'cure' so they slide right out π
Fair comparison.
Same in Houston!
I think all's gravy now!
Same for me - along with not being able to login to another account. I looked under my account here at the birthday settings and it says I recently changed it and can't update it right now etc. I didn't change anything recently.
Just a bug we can't do nothin' about but report I guess. Good luck!
I've only had Albuca spiralis and they went heat dormant on me. Fragrant but not really a great thing to smell lol! Have fun and hopefully the osmynella smells better than it sounds I guess π
I think this is Albuca osmynella? Not A. spiralis but they look really fun! Are the flowers fragrant?
That sounds really nice :)
Hopefully it will level out - no surprises lol! It's warming up here for the next 10 days at least.
Oh warmer than me? WYA? Florida? I'm in Houston.
Light is hard π I recently moved them into my garage with good grow lights - getting cold here finally.
A pot of rosette succulents in various shapes and sizes. A large purply green Graptoveria 'Fred Ives' is at the top. A pale lotus flower-like Echeveria 'Lola' is in the center 3 green rosettes with a resemblance of artichokes are Graptopetalum bellum. The smallest rosettes are a light green with tapered leaves - those are Sedeveria 'Peckerwood.' At 2 o'clock in the pot is a Echeveria subcorymbosa. It has thinner leaves of a light blue shade with red leaf margins.
A pot of pretty rosettes π Most IDs in alt text π

I've killed this before π¬ So beautiful.
Thanks for the tour! Sounds like a very rad day with a great haul π΅π» Cheers!
I don't hate them until I do π
Nick and @rickmartin.bsky.socialβ¬ - Acorns are everywhere here too bc of the 'mast year' β thankfully I don't have an oak on the property, the pecan is messy enough!
I have found a pecan in one of my pots almost daily this month. How do I find them? By seeing a slightly uprooted plant or a bit of broken leaves. Thanks, squirrels! π€π½ πΏοΈ
Other than that, it's still warm in Houston and I've started a variety of seedlings these last few months.

Well, shoot. Seems Lacewings are haute cuisine around here. My husband bought me this Venus flytrap earlier this year, and it demands distilled water, bottom soaking, and beneficial insects. I thought I would have killed it by now, yet it lives and it eats.

Light is hard π But these still turned out well! Really nice specimens and the Mangave is π€π½π πΌ
This is absolutely WILD! Congratulations!
Also good for #BlueTue maybe? #bluish π
A 10" columnar Euphorbia with strange rock-like skin in a grayish blue hue. A brown anole is climbing down the side.
Euphorbia abdelkuri - a really slow growing succulent orginating from Abd al Kuri, an island south of Yemen.
