You will never be forgotten, Georgie! ❤️🐽

Georgie touched many lives during his short time here on Earth and made a true difference in the fight for greater empathy towards pigs. We have made plans to have his body cremated by Peaceful Valley Crematorium, and a rock will be placed in his honor in our memorial field known as Tulip’s Meadow.

A true gentle giant, Georgie loved attention and always entertained our tour visitors showing how large pigs can grow. He was also the star of one of our most viral social media videos helping to teach millions of people about the different sizes of various pigs.

Georgie was one of our most beloved pigs here. He was never meant to live past 10 months old, having been born on a traditional farm for slaughter. But thank you to the kind heart of a young boy who saved him during a “pig scramble” event at a local fair, Georgie found a forever home.

After experiencing a brief illness late last week, Georgie rapidly deteriorated and was no longer eating food, drinking, or able to move. At our field vets recommendation he was euthanized late Monday afternoon and passed away peacefully around 4 p.m.
