We had our first baby rattlesnake encounter of the season the other day. It was lying in the door way of OBS 2. Michael used the snake grabber to gently relocate the little one away from the OBS and humans. Being kind costs nothing, and the snake grabber was on sale. =)

Yesterday we had quite a bit of wind and dust in the area. Interstate 10 was closed to the North of us due to visibility and an accident. Days like that make you grateful for days like this. #NewMexico #DesertLife #AstronomyAcres

We first arrived here in 2018, with a plan to stay for a month. We left 7 months after that and returned every chance we could after. It is an amazing place, and we are so lucky and grateful to finally be able to call it home. Thanks for the share!!
