IMPORTANT INFO: In order to reduce queues and ensure as many people as possible can have their turn, we will be using a timed ticket system. Come to see us when you first arrive at the show and we will give you the next available slot on the sim.
It's the closest you'll get to driving the real thing unless you travel back in time and apply for a job at Merseyrail. Our 507 simulator, powered by TS Controllers, is coming to Rainhill Model Rail 2026 this weekend. See you there!

On this day in 1886 the Mersey Railway tunnel opened between Liverpool and Birkenhead.
Sadly we had to wait nearly a century for the best trains. 😉
On this day in 2015 - the Merseyrail megatrain! After multiple failures on the Wirral Line caused by ice on the third rail, a rescue train went out to fetch the stalled units, ending up with EIGHTEEN coaches by the time it reached Hooton. Our own 507001 is in there somewhere! youtu.be/tiTNqtZrT6U

Today 507001 visited the Litchurch Lane test track again. This time carrying guests from ALSTOM as part of a celebration of the success of The Greatest Gathering.
