odmah si 5g mlađi! :)
I've used the walkthrough pattern recently to walk me through a 7k line PR (in several commits, but still...) that I did with CC a few weeks ago.
I wanted to do a proper review and the walkthrough "eased me in" and oriented me from where to start looking.
I was curious about the sources, found it here: www.reddit.com/r/LocalLLaMA...
Tried to reproduce, works great for "what model are you" in Chinese. But "what is your name" reports differently - as "ChatGPT" 🤣
Code reviews don't scale when you have thousands of lines of code built daily. We need to rethink them in the age of AI.
I posted some of my thoughts about it here: senkorasic.com/articles/ret...

I love the "velocity without understanding is not sustainable" line from Mary-Anne's post. Pithy, accurate, and actionable: don't go faster than you can understand.
Ever wondered what that helpful "curl | bash" installer actually does?
Paste it into curl-bash-explain.dev and find out!
Github is down. If only we had a DISTRIBUTED version control system...
A few months ago I gave a talk about responsible AI-assisted software engineering: www.youtube.com/watch?v=X7Dk...
Since then I see more teams shifting towards the "vibe-code" (light review) end of AI usage spectrum - I'll have to make an update soon :)
I don't know which circles you're following, but I see everyone talking about it, and open source projects adopting policies that address it, for example: jellyfin.org/docs/general... , github.com/ghostty-org/... and github.com/mitchellh/vo...
Here's how I use bubblewrap to (mostly) safely use Claude in yolo mode in Linux: blog.senko.net/sandboxing-a...
A bar chart showing the electricity use of several daily activities with the subtitle "The 'typical query' is not a useful way to think about coding agents' energy use." The bar for a 'typical ChatGPT query' is not even visible. My median Claude Code session is somewhere between the average US household per minute and toasting bread for three minutes. My median day with Claude Code is something like running a dishwasher.
Whenever I read discourse on AI energy/water use that focuses on the "median query," I can't help but feel misled. Coding agents like Claude Code send hundreds of longer-than-median queries every session, and I run dozens of sessions a day.

Weekend thoughts on Gas Town, Beads, slop AI browsers, and AI-generated PRs flooding overwhelmed maintainers. I don't think we're ready for our new powers we're wielding. lucumr.pocoo.org/2026/1/18/ag...
Word of the day: clauding → coding using an AI agent.
"Vibe coding" has negative connotations and "AI-assisted software software development" is unwieldy.
What if you use Codex? Well, if you can google using Bing, you can claude using Codex.
This is slightly depressing:
Claude Code just churned 4K lines of code (addition to existing project), I just had to add two lines of config.
Of course it didn't work. Spent half an hour debugging.
I incorrectly copy-pasted those two lines.
AI labs scraping your sites steal your content and increase your hosting costs to boot. Agree or disagree?
Here's my humble suggestion on how to solve the AI scraping problem: senkorasic.com/articles/ai-...
His stance is this stretches the copyright law which will have to update, so definitely not a clear-cut case! And also this is EU legal perspective - US is different enough to complicate further.
Also caveat, this is not legal advice, all errors are mine, etc.
But we had a fascinating chat! :)
So if eg. take @mitsuhiko.at 's minijinja and zero-shot Claude Code to convert to Zig, I am not the author of the result.
But if it took me a few tries and (re)prompts and guidance and coaxing for CC to do it, then I am because I imparted some creative effort in this.
Orig. license still applies.
Friend's (a law prof. specializing in IP) response (paraphrased):
1) If you're not authorized to make a derived thing (by the source license), it's automatically illegal (ie. you can't IP launder with LLM).
2) You need to have creative input to attach *your* authorship to the derived work
🧵↓
Is your professional legal opinion that copyright law doesn't apply if you pass something through LLM, but does if you do the exact same thing manually?
Asking for a friend.
Derived code is derived code no matter how it was derived.
What's stopping you from doing that manually?
Bam, no more copyright...oh wait.
Oh for crying out loud.
LLMs are bad, but googling or using a modern smartphone (ios or android), or using youtube, whatsapp, instagram, or just having a computer with windows or macos on it is just fine, even though we're talking about same companies.
This drivel just cheapens the word "fascism".
