I decided to torture myself by reading the "James Patterson" novel The Shadow. I have never read a Patterson book before, either by him or from the stable. Are these 2-3 page chapters typical? Is the writing always this, how do I put it, simplistic?

If you've been hearing people talk about the John Birch Society lately and you're all, "What's the John Birch Society?" this episode of Revisionist History does a good job of explaining it, what they tried to do in the 60s, and should help connect those dots with what's happening now.

Guess I'll go back to Pocket Casts. Maybe IT will remove the block from Crowdstrike on the folder that is preventing sync since I told them it was for all of iCloud. Who knows.

Actually, it worked fine this morning. Stopped some time this afternoon. Very weird.

Well now, it isn't Apple Podcasts causing the issue. IT made us install Crowdstrike, you know, the people who destroyed the internet last year, and that is preventing Podcasts from updating a file. Worked fine yesterday.

It's not even ALL my devices. It's mainly my work MBA to everything else. That one is signed in with a different main iCloud account and my personal for Music, Books, Podcasts, and the App Store.

Maybe I should sign out and back in and see if that fixes it.

(Yes, I'm aware of Castro, Overcast, Pocket Casts, Downcast, Mimir, all the other apps out there. I own Downcast, I have lifetime Pocket Cast+, none of that matters, I don't want to use other apps any more)
