Yea, you were right, I was confusing nfs undercover with most wanted. I played both, but only undercover was on the wii

I HAD THIS GAME ON THE WII AND IT WQS FUCKING AWESOME
Sounds fun :)
I've got a year of experience between Godot and PyGame. Love to be added :)
I don't think you need to have shipped a product or have had success in the field to know what a good game is. That's the entire point of play testing, no?

One thing I love about game dev is no matter how daunting a project/feature looks, if you break it down enough, it's always possible.
You can be so sure that something is 'out of your skill level' and progress might be slow, but every step forward is proof that youβre capable :)

I've got a beef with people who criticise others without anything to show for themselves. There are some cases where public criticism is expected but outside of that it makes me see red and I will never hold back.
the i am your beast support group expansion drops for free tomorrow morning and someone still has to name an achievement

I'm gonna be honest man that's a really annoying sound lol. But the way it changes depending on weather it's a statement or a question is cool af
Imposter syndrome never goes away. That's just your perfectionism forcing you to be better than is possible.
Best advice, pick a toolset, work with it, learn from it, get better as you go. Never expect your work to be perfect, but expect to learn with everything you do. Learning is the only goal.
I got Tetris so I can play it during commute and for some stupid fucking reason it needs internet.
Why does Tetris need a connection? Not even an offline mode

Game Dev is 70% dreading working on a feature because you know its gonna be hard
20% pretending to work on everything other than that feature
And 10% realizing that it wasnt actually that hard
In other news, the basic framework for the shop is done :)

What's YOUR biggest easter egg, #gamedev? Come on, show us, don't be a chicken! ;)
The vault kinda kills the momentum though, imo
Woah that looks beautiful :)
I'm using the Godot game engine, with GDscript as the language. I use piskel to create the sprites, and bfxr for the sound effects :)

Random question for game dev community
Are games art?
If yes, what about games with just a simple or even no over-arching story?

A bunch of (horribly written) code
There's no better feeling in this world than finishing a prototype of a game and it's actually fun.
I love game dev

not a single clue what effect it would give you, but a rainbow potion.
What is this game about btw?
That was really well made. Its kinda confusing at first, but its fun when you get the hang of it. Its missing some polish but thats understandable because its a game jam game.
Kinda wack that you dont get to see your high score after youre done playing :/
Wooah this is so cool!!
2 Panel comic. In the first panel, two skeletons look up at the sky, one exclaims 'ah'. In the second panel, both are destroyed in a blast.
