I made some upgrades to the draft pick simulator. You can now specify up to 16 picks which should cover most/all teams drafts. I also added some additional pick ranges to choose (i.e. 6-10 overall). Finally, you can now run the simulation 1, 5 or 10 times.

Click the Run Simulation button and the system will produce a list of three players selected at random from the 2007-2018 NHL drafts that fit that criteria and then show you the kind of player your draft lottery tickets might produce. For example, I got Berggren Lehner and Meloche for Weegar. (3/5)
With this tool you can specify up to 10 draft picks by round or by overall draft pick. So for the Weegar trade you could estimate that one of the picks will be 33-38th overall and the other two would be in the 40-48 overall range. (2/5)

For those unfamiliar, these reports show individual and on-ice statistics for skaters, goalies, lines, defense pairs, 5v4 PP units, 4v5 PK units and teams. You can also see NHL edge data for skaters and teams in tabular form which makes comparing players much easier than you can on the NHL website.
Site Update: I have added all of the hockey analytics reports that are on Puckalytics.com to TheStanleyCap.com. You can access the reports from the STATS pull down menu. These will exactly match the Puckalytics reports so you can choose which look you like best.
I'm happy to announce that I have added NHL Edge Team Reports to Puckalytics including NHL Edge Skating, Shot Speed and Zone Time reports.
I'll also be adding this data to TheStanleyCap.com Team Pages in the coming days.
