Live action Disney movies give me the heebie-jeebies (especially ones like the Lion King that are basically full CGI), and I love Tangled and this feels particularly unnecessary, BUT if you're going to do it, this is good casting.

I have no problem with it being One Trek Hill. It lends itself well to episode-of-the-week stories, which I like. And Trek has always been more about interpersonal stuff than a lot of other sci-fi. I *loved* the episode with Sam learning about Sisko.
But this one fell suuuuper flat for me.
I've been praising Starfleet Academy when it's good so it's only fair that I dunk when it's bad. I didn't like Come, Let's Away at all. Boring Caleb and Tarima stuff. 'ooh a new terrifying alien we've never heard of before'. Some very clunky dialogue. Giamatti being, like, Q But Violent. Nah mate.
