This shows the sort of data that Proton Mail, which prides itself both on end-to-end encryption and that it's only governed by Swiss privacy law, can provide to third parties. In this case, the FBI. @evystadium.bsky.social has more.

girl with ponytail, white top, black pants, and flowing pink scarf walks left under a yellow crescent moon, with music notes above. a black streetlamp with two glowing yellow lights stands nearby. Three rats with pink ears and tails follow the girl. Scattered stars (some with yellow centers) dot the sky.

Soft, cream-colored microblogging interface. Several posts from @important.keith.business are shown in a grid. Posts include: a photo of a man feeding goats with the caption βme + π #goatβ; a minimalist quote card reading βpika pikaβ attributed to Pikachu; a private to-do list card with checkboxes; a meme-style black-and-white historical photo post titled βWelcome to the Resistance, Driving Range Guysβ; and a poll asking βis keith the cutest web developerβ with βyesβ at 100%. UI includes reblog, like, and reply icons with a soft, botanical aesthetic.

This reads like a Palantir ad. I donβt know who their anonymous sources are but it all sounds like more βevil geniusβ marketing, which is good for the company, because what they fear is not people thinking theyβre immoral, but people thinking they have a high P/E ratio for a software consultant.

Congress is taking up an alarming bill that would empower the government to decide what content is deemed dangerous to young people, encouraging censorship of content it doesnβt like.
Tell your members to support free speech and vote no on censorship.

The House committee will be hearing on a package of 19 internet censorship and surveillance bills like KOSA that will take away our digital freedoms and privacy tomorrow on Thursday, March 5th. Please fill the committee members' phones with your calls of your opposition of these dangerous bills.

I wonder if GitHub realizes how much this intense decline in reliability is hurting consumer trust in them.
They might assume network effects or switching costs will save them, but IMO those are weaker moats than you might assume, especially when the core product no longer works consistently.

It's infuriating and frankly disrespectful to call our modern-day Gestapo, aka ICE, "law enforcement officers." They're nothing of the sort. Real law enforcement protects (or should protect) people. ICE terrorizes them.
