Ein kurzer 🧵 zum Wahlverhalten nach Altersgruppen und meine Einschätzung zur Veränderung seit 2021.
Wieder einmal zeigt sich, dass junge Menschen zwar volatiler wählen als andere Altersgruppen, vor allem aber eine sehr heterogene Gruppe sind!
Percentage MPs below 35 years in new Bundestag: AfD (8.6%), CDU (8.5%), CSU (2.3%), Linke (34.4%), Grüne (28.2%), SPD (11.7%)
Remarkable increase in young MPs by 'Die Linke' in the new German Bundestag, with 1/3 of Linke MPs being younger than 35 years (compared to 3% after 2021 election)

My book is here! Such a wonderful feeling to see it in print. While the book covers a group of parties that is very successful in the volatile party systems of Centr.&Eastern Europe, I learned a lot from studying these parties for party system change in general. A thread 1/10
