great article about the breathing light. unsung.aresluna.org/just-a-littl... I miss the little button on macbooks that would display battery level.
The pentagon AI thing is interesting because one company has a completely useless model and the others have carveouts. Feels like in few years they'll just run a OSS model and do whatever they want.

Blogged about vibeporting things over to cloudflare workers with codex and gpt-5.2 codex sigh.dev/posts/you-ca...
Also open sourcing a vibe coded port of datasette by @simonwillison.net to typescript and cloudflare workers. github.com/scttcper/dat...

my skrillex plays by year:
2010: 1
2011: 93
2012: 192 β peak dubstep
2013: 26
2014: 1
2015: 1
2016: 37
2017: 9
2018: 1
2019: 11
2020: 45
2021: 20
2022: 27
2023: 38
2024: 37
2025: 5
I keep seeing tiktoks nostalgic for the dubstep era but they're all saying it was 2016. This is simply not true. Pulled my last.fm and quickly grouped it by year / skrillex play count.
At least for me 2012 was my peak brostep year with 192 Skrillex plays, double my 2011's 93 plays.
cursor usage with 1.7b tokens
I used 1.7 B tokens last year. Which would cost $8500 if I had used opus 4.5 the entire time with no caching
I can't stop turbotax.
