I feel a bit dirty, but I vibe-coded a parcel tracking app for Linux because my beloved parcelapp.net doesn’t exist there.

It uses the Ship24 API for tracking and works well so far. One less reason to stay on macOS.

I might be suffering from the Baader–Meinhof phenomenon, but I’m seeing more and more people give Linux a shot lately and enjoy it.

I mean, I’m one of them.

At this point, my search for a MacBook Pro replacement is down to four contenders:

Lenovo ThinkPad P14s (Intel)
Asus Zephyrus G14
Asus Flow Z13 (currently reviewing this)
And if I decide to go full overkill:
HP ZBook Ultra G1a

The ThinkPad is currently in the lead.

I might have been cured already. Currently on @cachyos.org on one device, and @bazzite.gg on two others. I don’t see a reason (yet?!) to hop again.

And it took me only a week before I started distro-hopping.

Turns out, it’s already here. Got it as a review unit for the next three months. Backing up the original Win11 install via Rescuezilla before nuking and installing @bazzite.gg DX.

But hey, I finally have the portable machine on the way, so I can fully embrace this experiment.
