straight up if you claim to be an nso fan and are hating on the anime before its even out i'm just gonna call you a saboteur. you're actively going against the creator's wishes so you can play gatekeeper against other fans. it's pathetic. fake fan shit. poser behavior.
nyalra even went on record to say that they fw the anime staff and really desperately want the anime to succeed. their twitter's been 90% promoting the anime for months, despite the game's publisher trying to kick them off the project (theyre in a legal dispute bc WSS wants nyalra to work for free)
basically if you're being a cynic about this anime just know that you are preemptively hating on the sole piece of nso media besides the original game that has the original creator's involvement beyond mere supervision that isnt Literally Just Words.
as someone who played the game within the first two weeks of launch, this anime is extremely promising. nyalra (the game's lead writer) wrote the anime's entire script, which is the most involved theyve been in an NSO work besides the game, the blogged short stories, and the "spider" yuri novel.
i've seen reviews of the early theatrical screening basically saying "this is evangelion meets perfect blue meets monogatari meets the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya (broadcast order) meets serial experiments lain". which sounds fucking awesome. this world isn't ready for it.

these days 1st person PoV is kinda perceived as just "romantic wish fulfillment slop", but honestly i think theres a lot of artistic merit to using that PoV. particularly for unreliable narrator stuff. its a shame its got such a bad rep at the moment.

no, f 2nd was actually the *last* game to have fanart contest loading screens. in X the fanart was relegated to the credits, and FT/megamix just have, like, promo renders or your own screenshots. thats it.

Maybe you know the Japanese word βBaka (馬鹿)β, which means βfool, idiotβ. Itβs derived from Sanskrit words, moha(fool) or mahallaka (ignorant).
Though its Kanji means horse (馬) and deer (鹿) , they are just phonetic equivalent characters for the loanword. I feel sorry for horses and deer.
