Today is Day 17 of the GOP's DHS shutdown β a shutdown thatβs only happening because Republicans refuse to hold ICE and CBP to the same sort of standards as law enforcement β and now the GOP wants to use Trump's Iran war to get Democrats to cave and let them shovel billions more to those agencies.
Writing my own position statement for the upcoming Open Social Web un-workshop.
A main reason I ever started #FediForum is that I wanted to attend an event like it! And sometimes you have to create things yourself if they don't exist yet.
We received about forty submissions for the upcoming #FediForum unworkshop on "Growing the Open Social Web" by Monday's deadline. That means submissions from about half of the people who have registered so far, and should make for a great conversation!
