Battlegroup Clash: Baltics REVIEW | Wargame Board Game
Battlegroup Clash: Baltics REVIEW | Wargame Board Game YouTube video by The Dice Treasures

The first review of Battlegroup Clash: Baltics is in. "One of the most compelling modern battlefield designs on the marker... a truly amazing design.". I'll take that!

It's fine to voice your opinion, but I disagree doing it via a 1 rating. That's childish. The ratings serve the purpose of helping people decide if it's a good game or not. Concordia is excellent. (Caveat that I've not been following the detail here, just seen it has a rating of 4, which is stupid).

No Efka. Not good enough. I want proof receipt of every sale you made at LobsterCON, UKGE, and the car boot sale down the road.😉

Noted. It's just that you sold your review copy of Wingspan at LobsterCON. (I know the person that bought it). If you are saying that you bought that copy, ie it wasn't given to you for review by Stonemaier, then fair enough. My (wrong?) assumption was it was a complimentary copy. Hence the query.

So of all the games @nopunincluded.com sold at the LobsterCON Dutch auction over the years, none were review copies 🤔?

Whoever said that about strategic level games is not thinking clearly. The opposite of a non abstracted strategic level game is what? It's 🤯🤯🤯, is what it is.
And claiming Totaler Krieg is a euro. Eh?! Stop this.

Not just China. I've got a pallet en route from the UK that was originally printed in the EU🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷. Basically it's now costing me more than before the Supreme Court ruling, even though the UK and EU are the ones that have agreed post liberation day trade deals 😂🫠😭

Each counter represents a platoon, or in some cases a section, so a platoon is the largest force element you'll be activating in the game. Most scenarios feature several reinforced companies, and a couple have reinforced battalions (i.e. Battlegroups)

Just to understand as I can't access the article: you disagree that it's possible that LLMs like Claude are anything but highly sophisticated stochastic parrots. Articles like this that imply they might be something more than that are signs of nefarious influence by techbros to pump their products?

It's taken some time to grok but now I have, I'm very much appreciating the risk-reward solitaire mechanics of Operation Bollebank. Original. Good emergent narrative too. Thanks for bringing it to my attention @letsplayhistory.bsky.social

That's true, they really seem to have bought into it, and have a very good steward in Major Somerville.

To be fair so are the British. After Battlegroup Wargame System there's Platoon Wargame System now being designed, and a Brigade level version planned.

I struggle to see how the human remains in the loop TBH. I know that is the current 'plan' but if your adversary, or your assumption that your adversary, removes the human, which is where China is thought to be going, then a human is a liability timewise in the loop. It's pretty bad...

Battlegroup Clash is my title. I'm the publisher. I also know the publisher of W&P. Who can I contact to discuss?

Any chance you can make some a) for War & Peace 7th Ed, and 2) for my new game Battlegroup Clash Baltics? The latter is being delivered to pre order customers at the moment.
