Ezra could be seen as a repressed but very out gay man, more than anything, and would be seen as problematic for being uh...comfortable...with his sexuality? He's not overt but it does come up and he's not shy about it. I don't think that's something to "get over", more so find a BF and be happy.
Apprentice says ignorant stuff often times because she was just never taught about it. She learned about genderfluidity in the span of the campaign from our parties local Changeling. She's also learned people get married, and is confused why someone would do that. She's learning, slowly.

What WASN'T a moment? When her parents were gone. When her Aunt and Uncle took her in. When her curse showed up. Meeting her mentor, and eventually seeing him die. The time she spent working in her hometown. It all weighs on her and shaped who she is now.
Chione:
The night they were taken and turned by their vampiric sire. Her life before is a blurry thing now, so distant it's not even worth thinking about. And to her, her life was fundamentally shaped by what she was made into. A soldier with semi-immortal life. Great cannon fodder.
Lampaat:
Waking up in the Cerberus lab facility. No seriously! They woke up, and would have been alone if not for Umbris there. And somehow having another person there made it not so scary to wake up with no memories in a strange place.
Imogen:
Kudo trying to eat her, actually! In some manner they both were content to eat each other as opportunistic carnivores & shape changers. But it was a moment she felt a good amount of kinship and acceptance in her life, & potential death. They're best friends now.
Bridgette:
One of the few times she peaked her head out from the room her father always ushered her into when guests came over, and saw her future Commander. To her this is a defining moment as the first person to not look through but AT her. For better or worse.
Rasiri:
It's simple and I've talked about it before, but it's watching both of her parents die. It left a big impact on her and a sense of justice, to do right by others even if they have wronged you. What do you expect from a Redemption Paladin?
Apprentice:
Her patron taking her in and caring for her. It's been a long time since, but it's solidified her loyalty to him.
Unfortunately, her unspeakably evil act. It haunts her and makes her question her choices. She wonders if that was the right one to make. Or if she was naive and hasty.

I've already talked to my DM about the fact Apprentice, if the party de-lichify her, will ask her Patron if she can go by 'Daughter' instead. She also will ask the party to call her by her name, 'Alice'.

One of Yuuki, one of young Apprentice, one of Savari, and one of my BG3 character, Minthe.
Kitsu was fast to fall in love, slow to trust and feel safe to get into the relationship. The pair are rather goofy together.
Notably Cornelius is the bolder of the two, despite outside of the relationship, Kitsu is the more dominant person.
Chione was the kind of person who was awkward and unabashedly in love, who would have died to keep her girlfriend safe and happy. It's completely destroyed her since.
Lampaat is an idiot who is SO clearly romantic but then insists it's platonic. The type of person who would go "What are we?" only for Umbris to go "...we're married??" Only for Lampaat to go "Yes but what ARE we?" and confuse TF out of everyone involved.
Bridgette realizes pretty quick when she is called in privately by her commander, but is someone who struggles with communication so she doesn't really say anything for a while.
For the characters I've yapped about here who are in relationships:
Rasiri started the campaign engaged, but specifically was not a fast romance as she was entirely oblivious for the first while until HE confessed to her.
Dauntless has a crush on the class rep but is scared to say anything.
This is different OC to OC, and story to story.
I believe I tend to make couples that I intend to last fall in love rather quickly, even if they don't confess right away.
Dr. Kovac:
She'd grin and say "A Komodo Dragon. They're quite venomous, did you know? And persistent hunters who will follow envenomated prey for weeks afterwards until they die or are too weak to fight back anymore. It's all quite fascinating..." Then go back to work.
