Iran has had years to prepare for this war, knowing it was always a possibility, and with an apparent uprising from within less and less likely, there are no easy options for the US and Israel - other than backing down and claiming victory, which you have to assume they will.

Also that Farage and Badenoch have both stepped back from their opening belligerence, not least because their own polling will have told them how catastrophically unpopular this war already is, and only become more so the longer it goes on.

Think at this point we can already say the war with Iran has failed on its own terms of deposing the government - and seeing as the Trump admin has come up with horseshit over a number of days now meant to temporarily lower the oil price, can assume it won't be over any time soon.
