Trump and Netenyahu are interested in territorial expansion and white supremacy, full stop. The only "liberation" Trump is interested in is the "liberation" of Iranian resources from the Iranian people.
While we hope that political development in Iran enables its people to topple authoritarianism, violent suppression of protests, and gender apartheid, we know that Netenyahu and Trump, authoritarians in their own countries, are not at all interested in the well-being of Iranians.
When it comes to Iran, just like in Venezuela, Trump's regime is trying to convince the world that their goal is "liberation." That could not be farther from the truth.
