I was super social in the book fair. Now I’m drinking water in my hotel room.
Thank you.
When I was in high school, my AP history teacher talked about having orgasms with his wife. When I complained on him, I was removed from AP history.
Driving to Detroit to catch a plane to Baltimore! #AWP26
You all need to be an opposition party. Stop discussing and start doing.
What?? ICE, war, attacks on transgender people! FASCISM!
I hope so.💠🌸
I’m seeing them this summer at Mosswood Meltdown.
Great album. Changed my life when I was sixteen.
I don't care if Congress authorizes War on Iran. NO WAR ON IRAN. I want people to fucking reclaim their morality.
21 years clean/sober today. I am most grateful for that.
Oh yes.
Same at my university. And the university keeps pushing it.
Stop debating. Do something. The dems just keep letting him do whatever he wants.
The majority gives in and then tells us, “It’s inevitable.” I’m so sick of higher-ed just giving in to AI. To fascism.

Grateful to have short fiction in the latest issue of the Dunes Review. Truly a beautiful issue cover to cover with so many echoes between all the pieces.
no war no borders no cops no prisons no to all of this shit
Dems and their statements. Do something. Do fucking something.
It’s a good thing Congress isn’t alive to see this

I loved it! I think it’s the best sequel out of all the sequels.
I’m very outgoing once you know me. But I’m super shy in social situations. A friend of mine jokes that I hide behind her and let her do all the talking. She will be at #AWP26 thank goodness! But I’m also going to try to be more social instead of disappearing into the city as I always do at AWP.
Exactly!! I will not be missing his talk.
Why are so many off site readings I want to attend at the same time as the keynote by John Waters? #awp26
Quicken the coming of the water crisis to make sure fake pleasantries persist. This is whiteness. Kill the planet, maim and harm, but do so with a smile.
“I want [readers] to remember that this is not just a book about the Delta. It’s a book about America….I knew that I was writing about the Delta, but I also reminded myself that I was also writing about America.”
