To echo what other comments are saying, they can make profit with a good, purpose built app but if they want to make even more money then they need to start competing with different kinds of apps. It never seems to be enough to have a loyal user base that likes the current app

This is a total disappointment esp given the cost of products! I'm struggling to understand what is so difficult about supporting artists by hiring them to make a design for these product lines.

These (relatively) newer models have a sacrificial gear made of nylon that will shear to protect the motor from overloading but it doesn’t seem to take much for that to happen. In this case the metal gear in the worm gear assembly went kaboom which was… interesting
Mhm! I used to work on cars but mostly just oil changes so it’s amusing that the closest I’ve come to work on a gearbox is in a kitchen appliance
Managed to save a friend’s mixer from the landfill after the gearbox promoted itself to shrapnel. I’m very happy with how easy it was to get replacement parts for cheap and how good repair guides are. I’d honestly do this as a side gig if I had regular access to broken mixers
