Project Salt Run, 100 Marathons in 100 Days, Day 79 of 100. A woman wearing running kit, smiling and pointing at a chalk mark on the road in the shape of a lightning bolt.
My friend Hannah Cox, who I cannot stress enough is NOT A RUNNER, is about to run her 80th marathon in a row. She's crossing India to tell a little-known story about historic injustice* and to raise Β£1M for orgs fighting the climate crisis.

Friendly reminder that Hannah Cox, a woman who did not call herself a runner this time last year, is currently a third of the way through 100 marathons in 100 days, raising Β£1 million for the planet.
She's doing it to make a difference and prove what's possible, and she's absolutely smashing it.

Feedback card pinned to a cork board. Beautiful films and beautiful words to reflect special places in nature that we need to look after. Great project!
Such a lovely time at #PeatOnEarth today at Manchester Museum! We're open for one more day on Sunday, 10am til 4pm.

Thanks so much for sharing, @caughtbytheriver.bsky.social! Canβt wait for people to experience these films, hear some amazing poetry and fall in love with peat π
Mockup of a laptop, with screenshots of phrases from emails on the screen. "LOVE IT", "LOVE IT", "Thanks so much βΒ it's looking great", "Thanks so much for knocking it out of the park once again", "If something awful ever happens to me, please can you make sure this is the image given to the media."

How to cancel Jews (and get away with it). A 21st century guide to the oldest hatred.
π How our charity client raised Β£8,000 in a day with shortform video content
This is one of our favourite kinds of projects. The client brought loads of great ideas, centred on one hero film but maximising value with lots of shortform content.
Happy 150th!

πΊ A bit of new work we're very proud of...
Last year we collaborated with @ukcoaching.bsky.social on a couple of long-form films for their #PlayTheirWay campaign.
These resources are aimed at coaches looking to adopt a more child-first approach, based on the UN Rights of the Child.

Just passed the 200 mile mark! Should be halfway to 500 by Friday.
Two men and a woman holding camera equipment or, in Ben's case, a glass of wine. And a bottle of beer but he was holding that for someone else, honest.
Happy birthday to us βΒ Studio 91 is officially 7 years old today π

Over the past 18 months, we've been working on bogs and on a UK-Malaysia cultural exchange. So we're thrilled to see both those things in a new Connections Through Culture project supported by the British Council. 'Peat on Earth' will create new poems & films celebrating peatlands in UK & Malaysia.
Yes! We're filming our part in Cumbria (parum pa pum pumbria)
Weβre off to a cracking start with this project and canβt wait to film and edit it over the next few months! Weβll keep you updated with our progress - watch this space for a public exhibition both in the UK and Kuala Lumpur coming later this year.

Bogs and peat swamps are often seen negatively, with terms like βswampedβ or βbogged downβ giving them a bad reputation. However, these biodiverse habitats have an important, planet-saving story to share and deserve celebrating.
Work has already begun on our project #PeatOnEarth which is a collaboration with Malaysian filmmaker Factual TV and us. Our project will result in ten poems and spoken word films written by local poets Matt Sowerby and Kimchi Lai, highlighting the importance of peatland habitats in both countries.

I've just had my mind blown for the third year in a row by the #BetterBusinessSummit in Manchester.
It's my indispensable annual reminder that 1οΈβ£ everything is broken but 2οΈβ£ we can fix it.
Wouldn't be complete with Day 3, the day in nature β this time exploring part of the GM Ringway trail.
As a company, we were meant to be at βNet Zeroβ by 2025 and WE DEFINITELY AREN'T.
There, I said it. Feels good to get that out.
This blog/brain dump outlines my own misunderstandings, my disillusionment with the whole idea of net zero, and a rough plan for where we go from here.
