This is going to hit American pocketbooks hard.

So Iran now has, perhaps for the first time, information about the location of our most sensitive covert sites in the region.
A completely foreseeable, unnecessary consequence of unnecessary war with Iran.
Because you tell people things they donβt already know. Because you know how to tell a story. I would much rather read a 10,000 word piece you wrote than read a 1,500 word story that didnβt have either of those qualities.

House Democrat seeks to bar Trump from closing Kennedy Center for renovations
You donβt have to be an expert to know that βUNCONDITIONAL SURRENDERβ means boots on the ground.
Trump is broadcasting a plan for the escalation of his war.
NEW: Believe it or not, itβs that time of year: the Wisconsin Supreme Court election is next month.
Liberals have a huge opportunity: if they win, they can lock down the majority of this court thru 2030.
That means theyβd have it in the next presidential race, a big democracy guardrail.

The video of a United States Senator joining the violent removal of U.S. marine from a hearing and hideously breaking his arm in a door is an example of what has been unleashed in this country. Theyβre tapping in to get in on the violence.
And then he bragged about it on X later.
Emmanuel Damas, another individual killed in ICE custody.
He had a toothache. They ignored it. He died of spesis. Read that again.
Why do we need to fund this murderous agency?

DOJ didn't have all those FBI agents going through the Epstein files flagging Trump's name for no reason. They tried to release only the files without Trump's name in them, but they missed a few. A few. Most of the bad stuff about Trump is being kept from us. 2/2

Who could have guessed two real estate guys would have no idea what they were doing in negotiations with Iran? Absolutely devastating account from @lkrozen.bsky.social. diplomatic.substack.com/p/was-diplom...
Imagine serving as a Marine and then being injured at home, on purpose, by a sitting Senator while exercising your constitutionally-protected rights.
It is so damning of US news media that so many outlets refuse to just straight up say that Senator Tim Sheehy assaulted an activist.
He did not "help" Capitol police. They did not need his help. He wanted to assault the guy and did. He should resign.
Every single one of us would have understood it if @crockett.house.gov had remained in Texas for a while after putting everything she had into her Senate campaign. Taken some time to recover, rest, and heal. She's earned it.
And instead she's right back at work in DC today. For all of us. Wow.
One womanβVeronica Anderson, 66 years oldβwalked two and a half miles to the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center to vote. She was told she was at the wrong place and would need to go to a precinct sheβd never even heard of. She stood outside trying to figure out what to do.
At CBS News, where staffers are apparently barred from reading history books, the hostilities between Iran and the US donβt begin until 1979.

They are literally trying to convince you that starting a war is ending a war.

βWe Americans have begun another Middle Eastern war based on dubious intelligence claims, and as in 2003, I fear we havenβt thought through the substantial risks and uncertain gains,β our columnist @nickkristof.bsky.social writes.

On top of all the reporting that this war of aggression was planned well in advance, it seems that the reporting also indicates that the US political leadership are quite literally too stupid to understand basic diplomacy. I mean literally not smart enough.
You can trace this group -- which fights for oligarchic, low-tax, low-service, exploitative capitalism and uses racism & xenophobia to prevent solidarity among the working class -- more or less to the country's founding. They've been squarely under the GOP banner since at least 1980.
This is striking: Trump's deranged attacks on Canada have caused a big drop in Canadian visits to states like Michigan, hurting the state's economy. There are 3 vulnerable House Republicans in Michigan. So this lunacy could help cost GOP the House. 1/

While we sit around to find out how bad exactly it all is, a bit of cheer: the best baguette of Paris competition was won by a Sri Lankan who appears to have started as a dish washer in restaurants and eventually trained as a Boulanger.

Apparently Canadians take a dimmer view of the United States when its president arbitrarily hits their country with maliciously destructive tariffs, recklessly blows up cross-border projects, threatens to seize it by force, and even daydreams openly about reducing it to a vassal state.
